Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how JabMed Holdings LLC (“we,” “us”), a Florida limited liability company, handles information when you use JabMed Media at jabmedmedia.com (the “Site”), including Watch pages, browser games, Learn, Shop, Support, and related APIs.

JabMed Media is a division of JabMed Holdings LLC, not a separate legal entity. The parent company site at jabmedholdings.com has its own privacy policy for that informational website.

This page is a plain-language description of our current practices, not legal advice.

Information we collect

Technical logs

Hosting and related infrastructure (currently Hostinger) may record IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and similar server logs. We use this for security, reliability, and operation of the Site. We do not currently load third-party analytics pixels on this Site. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Learn email list

If you submit your email on Learn, we store that address and related signup metadata (for example time and source) so we can send the free starter and related updates from media@jabmedholdings.com. That list is stored in our database (currently Supabase). Welcome mail includes an unsubscribe link. If you leave the list, we keep a record of that opt-out so we do not email you again. You can open the free guide without joining the list.

Game accounts (optional)

Guest play is available. Progress may be stored in your browser (local storage) on that device only. If you sign in (“one username” across Plankwalk, The Chart Room, and Critical Mass), we collect the email address, username, and password you choose (passwords are stored hashed, not in plain text), plus game progress and related account data so we can sync across devices and show public leaderboard names. Sign-in may use a one-time email link, then a password. Accounts are served through our game API (currently on plankapi.jabmedholdings.com).

If you opt in on the join form, we may email you game news only (new titles, features, and play updates for Plankwalk, Critical Mass, and The Chart Room). That list is stored with your crew account on the game API. It is separate from Learn. It is not money education and not Historic Minds. The checkbox is optional. Public leaderboards display your username, not your email.

Payments

Optional studio tips on Support are processed by Stripe (live Stripe Payment Links in the name of JabMed Holdings LLC). Stripe collects payment details under Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive limited transaction data (for example amount, status, and email) for receipts and support. Shop products, when offered, are sold through Stripe Checkout under this section.

Tips and any future product payments are commercial transactions with JabMed Holdings LLC. They are not tax-deductible charitable donations. We are not a 501(c)(3) charity.

Contact and third-party embeds

If you email us, we receive whatever you send. Embedded video (for example YouTube on Watch pages) is governed by that platform’s policies. The Site may link to X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Suno, Stripe, and jabmedholdings.com.

Advertising

We do not run advertising networks or advertising cookies on this Site. If that changes, we will update this page.

How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site, films pages, and games
  • To provide accounts, sync progress, and run optional leaderboards
  • To send the Learn list and messages you requested
  • To send game news you opted into from a crew account
  • To process tips and (when live) product payments
  • To respond to emails you send us
  • To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with law
  • For the legitimate business interests of JabMed Holdings LLC

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Processors who help us run the Site: hosting (Hostinger), email/list storage (Supabase), outbound mail (our email host), payments (Stripe), and video embeds (YouTube)
  • Authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
  • A successor in a corporate transaction (merger, sale of assets, or reorganization), under this policy or a successor policy

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies or similar storage as needed for essential function (for example keeping you signed in to games, saving guest progress on a device). We do not currently use advertising cookies. You can clear browser storage; guest progress on that device will be lost.

Retention

We keep Learn emails and game accounts while they are active and for a reasonable period after, unless you ask us to delete them or the law requires a longer period. Server logs are kept as needed for security and operations. Stripe retains payment records under its own rules and applicable law.

Your choices

  • Play games as a guest without creating an account
  • Use Learn resources without joining the email list
  • Leave the Learn list with the unsubscribe link in a list email, the unsubscribe page, or by emailing media@jabmedholdings.com from the address you used. Turn off game news in any game’s account screen, or email us from the crew address. Close a game account by emailing from that address
  • Cancel a monthly Stripe tip from the receipt Stripe emails you

We may retain limited records when the law requires it or when we have a legitimate need (for example a payment dispute or abuse investigation).

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Game accounts and the Learn list are for users 13 or older. If you believe we have information from a child under 13, email media@jabmedholdings.com and we will delete it.

International visitors

We are based in Florida, United States. If you use the Site from elsewhere, you understand that information may be processed in the United States. Where a mandatory privacy law of your country applies and cannot be waived, we will honor that law to the extent required.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence applies and cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Site after a change is posted means you accept the revised policy. Material changes to how we handle personal information will be reflected on this page before or when they take effect.
